World Press Photo & Foliage Friends

I spent the day in the city on Tuesday with some splendid people. We had a look at the World Press photography exhibition, and it was just...indescribable. Studying peace and conflict studies at university really changed my perspective on the images. They were no longer just remarkable photographs- they had stories, they had histories. They conveyed so much more than I ever could have imagined.  I was particularly shocked by the images of Libya, and the stories of girls from Yemen who are forcibly married at age six.
I encourage every single person to view the photos, as hard as it may be. Photographs truly can not only capture, but change history.

Shifting to a lighter note, afterward, we went to the botanical gardens and snapped a few pictures.

Just like to point out that Savannah is absolutely stunning.
