Hello there! I'm back in blog land!
I've just spent the last weekend up at the beautiful Bunya Mountains, with a group of forty young adults. We ended up stranded up there longer because of the floods, which was such a blessing. God really does make all things work for his good. I know that I had been praying for Him to have all of the control in my life, and that prayer was truly answered- he literally had the control, over the weather, over when we could leave. We spent time in such beautiful community, encouraging each other, praying for each other, just loving. I think the biggest moment for me was the time spent worshipping in the upper room. One night, we were up there and the power suddenly went out. As we were plunged into darkness, we began to pray, all at once. Singing our own songs to the Lord, songs never sung before. It was beautiful, seeing an entire room of people earnestly crying out to our father, nothing else but him. Nothing was for show, there was nothing fake about it - an authentic worship, an authentic praise. We also got the opportunity to witness the baptism of not one, but two of our young adults! I've really been challenged to give it all to follow Christ, for he is worth it all, an amazing treasure. What an amazing weekend. God healed hearts, tore down walls, and it was beautiful.

This year, we're doing a radical challenge, going biblical with our lives. As a group , we're going to read the entire word, pray for the entire world, spend time overseas (Cambodia/Thailand here I come!), sacrifice our money for a worthy cause, and live life in a growing, discipling community. I'm really excited for this year. Oh man.
